Kung Fu Grandpa in the Food Lion parking lot.

Dear Photograph,
My grandfather used to take all of us kids for rides in the wheelbarrow. It was fun and exciting at a young age. Later on, he’d take us for rides in the car. Finally, it was us taking him for rides in the car, then in the wheelchair. He was my sunshine. Tomorrow, we’ll take a final ride with him to the cemetery. I will miss his smiles, which he gave us freely even at the end when he wasn’t able to speak. I promise to take my kids for rides in unconventional vehicles - it was a magical feeling. Thanks for the rides Grandpa.

Advanced Style: Ilona Royce Smithkin (by plioplyte)
I want to be Ilona when I grow up.
She is adorable. Some gems:
- About her age: “I cannot buy green bananas anymore.”
- About materialism: “We live in a time where advertising has taken over and everybody wants the newest things. And we must have it. But if we don’t have it, we are not going to die. It’s a wonderful thing not to need to have something.”
- About fashion: “I have no need for it because I have my own ideas what I like and what I think is chic.”

I am not amused.
