My brother and I created the Flying Squirrel when we were on the high school diving team. The trick was to get as close to the water as possible without belly flopping by folding back into a “V” pike at the last possible moment. The “V” also acted like a can opener upon entry… Kablooey! …so the dive had drama throughout.
